In this study Ernie Reisinger presents the glorious and redeeming Protestant doctrine of the Law and the Gospel. He teaches us what they are, how they relate, how the Bible is pregnant with their themes and consequences throughout its pages, and how our lives as Christian ought to be shaped and guided by our right understanding of it. This book is a treasure trove for every believer! But will have a particularly striking affect on the hearts of those that are either tempted to lay aside the Law of God as irrelevant or, on the other hand, are overburdened by the Law and are tempted to forget the healing ointment of the Gospel.

“Ernie Reisinger never lost focus on these issues during his entire Christian ministry and has contributed much to give clarity on these important biblical teachings. This book is a must for today’s preachers as we seek to maintain a healthy grasp of our task of being heralds of the gospel.”
Tom Nettles, Retired Professor of Historical Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY
