About the Book
Confessing the Faith: Volume 1provides the reader with a lifetime of gold mined from the eternal depths of God’s revelation.
Throughout, James M. Renihan works through the First London Baptist Confession of Faith chapter by chapter, insisting on hearing it in its historical context. The Confession was first published in 1644 and was revised twice; first in 1646 and second in 1651. This work is both a textbook for understanding the First London Confession and a systematic theology, explaining and applying the rich biblical doctrines found within the chapters of this 17th Century document.
Confessing the Faith: Volume 1 is likely to become the standard reference book on the First London Confession for years to come.
